Long-time partners built the station. Mr. West (MWX) and Coldone (Rus) are former military colleagues who later moved to North Carolina and Washington, D.C., but stayed committed to shared creative and operational goals. Rus has 20+ years running a selective beatmakers collective with strong A&R and artist-development expertise. Mr. West is a youth educator and founder of the Studioplace A&R Complex, which has trained thousands of creatives and provides grants to local artists.

Both have extensive experience developing creative infrastructure in the mid-Atlantic a region.

This duo has 50+ years of A&R experience building studios and working with artists worldwide — handling everything from front office to artist rights and the strategic, technical, and cultural development of the project.
